Brazil’s Ministry of Finance has opened a 45-day public consultation on proposed changes to the authorization process for fixed-odds betting operators, as the government takes additional steps to increase transparency in the country’s regulated gambling market.
The contribution period for the public consultation will be from July 27 to September 9, 2026. During this time, individuals and legal entities will have the opportunity to submit their comments and feedback on the proposed revisions to the betting licensing rules in Brazil.
