The UK Gambling Commission is set to tighten rules on non-compliant gaming machines and step up enforcement against illegal land-based gambling.
Acting Chief Executive Sarah Gardner announced at the Bingo Association’s annual general meeting on May 7 that the regulator aims to enhance oversight of the sector in line with ongoing gambling reforms. The commission will focus on ensuring compliance with regulations for gaming machines and intensify efforts to combat illegal gambling activities on land-based premises.
