The Betting and Gaming Council (BGC) unveiled a five-point plan to tackle the UK's growing illegal gambling market.
The plan aims to address the potential doubling of black market betting activity by 2028, which could expose consumers to higher risks of fraud, financial crime, and gambling-related harm. The BGC, representing about 90% of the UK's regulated betting and gaming sector, highlighted the importance of taking proactive measures to safeguard consumers and maintain the integrity of the industry.
