The Samara District Court has ordered the suspect, identified as Korkin, to remain in custody until July 4 for a court hearing, as reported by the Russian media outlet Samarskaya Gazeta.

The deputy head of the police is accused of accepting protection money from illegal casinos, according to the prosecutors.
