New Mexico is one of more than a dozen states which continue to lock horns with prediction market platforms in court battles, and Polymarket struck the latest blow this week.
Polymarket filed a lawsuit in federal court against state Attorney General Raúl Torrez and the leadership of the New Mexico Gaming Control Board on Tuesday. The company took legal action following the state's lawsuit against Kalshi, another prediction market platform. Polymarket's move is part of the ongoing legal disputes between states and prediction market operators across the US.
