PointsBet reported lower revenue and a deeper loss for the nine months ended March 31, as growth in Canada partly offset softer trading in Australia.

PointsBet, the Australia-based betting operator, disclosed a $19.2 million loss for the nine months leading to March 31. The company's total group revenue stood at A$186.6 million ($134.4 million), slightly down from A$188.4 million ($135.6 million) in the same period last year. Despite a 1% decrease in total net win to A$202 million ($145.4 million), the company experienced growth in Canada that helped mitigate the impact of weaker performance in Australia.
