The National Hockey League (NHL) and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) have entered into an information-sharing agreement to uphold the integrity of prediction markets associated with professional hockey.
The partnership, solidified by CFTC Chairman Michael Selig and NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, establishes a mechanism for the confidential exchange of information and the appointment of representatives to collaborate on ensuring the fairness and transparency of hockey prediction markets.
