New Jersey's internet gambling sector continued its rapid growth in May, setting a new monthly revenue record while earnings from in-person gambling at Atlantic City's casinos remained largely unchanged.
Internet gambling revenue in New Jersey increased by nearly 12% year-over-year to $276.3 million in May, surpassing the previous record of $273.2 million set in December. This growth in online gambling revenue offset the flat performance of in-person gambling at Atlantic City's casinos.
