The new regulations aim to prohibit gambling advertising and bonuses, implement centralized deposit limits, affordability assessments, and enhance enforcement actions against unlicensed operators.
The move is part of the government's efforts to address the increasing concerns related to gambling addiction and to ensure a safer and more responsible online gambling environment in the Netherlands.
