A police sting operation in Las Vegas led to the arrest of a 33-year-old woman for stealing a decoy purse and possessing stolen personal information and hotel access cards.
Referred to as Operation “Purse Bait,” the police arrested the woman after finding her in possession of the decoy purse. Court documents revealed that she had a substantial amount of stolen personal data and access cards from various hotels. The operation was part of efforts to combat theft targeting tourists along the Las Vegas Strip.
