Kalshi has added India to its list of restricted jurisdictions, preventing users in the country from accessing and trading event contracts on the platform following regulatory action under India's new online gaming framework.

Kalshi has added India to its list of restricted jurisdictions, preventing users in the country from accessing and trading event contracts on the platform following regulatory action under India's new online gaming framework.

Kalshi has updated its member agreement to bar users domiciled, organized, or located in India from participating in trading activities on the platform. This decision comes in response to regulatory measures taken within India's online gaming sector.

The restrictions on Indian users are outlined in the latest version of Kalshi's member agreement, effective from June 17. Users from India are now expressly prohibited from engaging in any form of trading of event contracts on the platform.
