The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications in Japan has initiated discussions on the potential implementation of geoblocking orders for online casinos. Last April, a group of experts was appointed to investigate this issue, as reported by the Japanese newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun. The panel of experts recently submitted a report suggesting the feasibility of geoblocking measures to regulate online casino activities.
