Greece has approved a new DNS-based enforcement framework to strengthen its crackdown on illegal online gambling, introducing faster website blocking and domain suspensions.
The Hellenic Gaming Commission (EEEP) has announced a cooperation agreement with the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT) to enhance the identification and blocking of unlicensed gambling websites. This initiative aims to expedite the process of taking down illegal gambling platforms, making it more challenging for them to operate within the country.
