Fanatics Sportsbook and Integrity Compliance 360 (IC360) are teaming up on a new program intended to detect and report social media abuse related to sports wagering, with the aim of ensuring that anyone who harasses an athlete online is banned from betting.

In collaboration with data firm Signify Group, Fanatics and IC360 unveiled their Bad Bettor Detection Program, which will utilize artificial intelligence to identify individuals engaging in abusive behavior towards athletes on social platforms. The initiative seeks to create a safer online environment for sports professionals by taking action against those responsible for online harassment.

The AI-powered program will monitor social media interactions and flag any instances of abusive behavior towards athletes, providing a mechanism to report such individuals and prevent them from participating in sports betting activities. By leveraging advanced technology, Fanatics and IC360 aim to promote responsible and respectful online conduct within the sports wagering community.
