The Dutch Lottery expressed concerns over the impact of higher gambling taxes in the country, highlighting how it has negatively affected the funds raised for charitable purposes. Arjan Blok, the lottery’s CEO, emphasized that the escalating taxes have eroded the industry's competitiveness, potentially driving consumers towards the unregulated black market.
