Spillemyndigheden, the Danish Gambling Authority, reported in its 2025 annual review that the enforcement campaign led to court-ordered blocks on illegal gambling sites. This action was part of efforts to combat unauthorized online gambling activities in the country. The report highlighted the significant shift towards online casinos, which now hold a prominent position in Denmark’s gambling industry, surpassing traditional lotteries.
