Chinese embassies have warned overseas tourists to stay away from illegal betting dens after Israeli and Thai police raided dens that allegedly catered to Chinese speakers.

Israeli and Thai police conducted raids on illegal betting dens targeting Chinese nationals. In Tel Aviv, eight Chinese citizens were arrested on June 4, with officials seizing over $341,000 in cash and a Glock handgun. The embassies' warning comes in the wake of these arrests, cautioning Chinese tourists to avoid such illegal activities while abroad.
