African gambling regulators agreed to strengthen cooperation on illegal gambling, market data, taxation and responsible gambling during a London session convened by the African iGaming Alliance on the sidelines of iGB L!VE 2026.
The African Regulators Session, held on Thursday, July 2, brought together senior representatives from Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Malawi, Rwanda, Ghana, Tanzania, and Angola. Discussions focused on enhancing collaboration to tackle illegal gambling activities, sharing market insights, implementing effective taxation policies, and promoting responsible gambling practices.
